Stephen Wells was a Butlin’s Redcoat before becoming Entertainment Executive responsible for putting on the biggest names in Show Business. A great talk, fully illustratedand with lots of great stories about the stars, including Cliff Richard, Des O’Connor, Jimmy Tarbuck, Ringo Starr, Dave Allen, Tommy Trinder and many more.
Stephen is a well-known speaker on cruise lines for Cunard, P & O and Viking, and at Women’s Institutes, U3A groups and Probus Clubs. As a professional magician he’s been a member of the famous Magic Circle for more than 45 years. He has appeared at many theatres around the UK and has numerous radio and television credits including appearances with Jonathan Ross, Bradley Walsh and Radio Four’s ‘Midweek’ with Libby Purves. He has been a contestant on BBC Television’s ‘Mastermind’ and a winner on ITV’s ‘Fifteen to One’.
