Events scheduled for 2024 have now been finalised and are detailed in the attached file. Printed copies of this will be available to you from the end of January and at the first meeting in February.
As usual we have a mixture of talks and outside visits. As we discussed with members at the AGM in November, organising coach trips has become increasingly expensive and members didn’t support our attempt last year to run a coach trip to Whitby in sufficient numbers to make it cost effective – even with some subsidy from the Society. So the three outside events will all be self-drive – to Doncaster, York and Selby. If any members are unable to self-drive, please let me know and we’ll try to arrange shared transport.
The first meeting, with Chris Cade – is on Thursday 22nd February from 7.30 pm in Portholme Church.
